  3. 3

Press Save PDF to download the reorganized document.

A page sorter in your browser

Organize PDF is the closest thing to laying printed pages out on a desk. Each thumbnail can be dragged anywhere in the grid; the number in the corner shows its position in the final file. On a touchscreen, press and drag a page, or use the arrow buttons that appear on each thumbnail.

Combining pages from several files

Add more PDFs with the “Add files” button and their pages join the grid, tinted by source file so you can tell them apart. This is how you interleave documents — for example, put each signed form directly after the matching cover sheet.

Rotating single pages

A scanned packet often has one landscape table in the middle. Rotate just that page by 90° steps; the other pages are left alone. Rotation is stored in the PDF as page orientation, so nothing is resampled.

Starting again

Use “Reset order” in the sidebar to put every page back where it started, including undeleting and unrotating pages, without reloading the files.

Organize PDF: frequently asked questions

Is there a keyboard way to move pages?

Yes. Focus a page thumbnail with Tab and use the left and right arrow buttons on it to move it one place at a time.

Can I insert a blank page?

Yes. Use “Add blank page” in the sidebar; it is added at the end with the size of the last page, and you can drag it where you need it.

How is this different from Merge PDF?

Merge PDF keeps each file in one block. Organize PDF lets you move individual pages, so pages from different files can be interleaved.

Does organizing change the page content?

No. Pages are copied as they are; only their order, rotation and presence change.
