Why some tools are “coming soon”

Converting Word documents to PDF and back with faithful layout, recognizing text in scans (OCR) and producing certified PDF/A archives need heavy server-side engines to be done well. Rather than offering a conversion that scrambles your layout, we list them as coming soon. When they arrive, they will be clearly labeled if they ever need to process files on a server.
